The Stone, The Sorrow originates from the observation of abandoned quarries across the national territory, examining the accelerated decomposition of these spaces through imagery and drawing parallels with the social notion of the concept of Family. Positioned on the boundary between the public and the private, the choreographer seeks a velocity that leads the spectator to a mythological space of both refuge and rupture, giving way to a landscape-mirror that oscillates between bucolic tenderness and the sensuality of the profane.
