| acsc | is a project of artistic collaboration between the two dancers Antonio Cabrita and São Castro, which they propose an interaction of interests and creative materials such as movement, image and sound.

SÃO CASTRO started her dance studies in Balleteatro Professional Dance and Theatre School in Oporto and in 2002 and finished a degree in Dance by Escola Superior de Dança (Superior School of Dance), Lisbon.
Worked in Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporâneo, artistic director Vasco Wellenkamp and was a dancer of Ballet Gulbenkian until its extinction. Started as a freelancer working with Benvindo Fonseca, Sofia Silva, Rui Lopes Graça and danced both " Feminine" and "Maiorca" projects of Companhia Paulo Ribeiro.
Created a duet for students of Escola de Dança do Conservatório Nacional (National Conservatoire Dance School), performed in the International Youth Festival Expression in Greece. In 2009 created the solo " aTempo " performed in IV Internacional Solo Dance Festival in Malaposta, International Contemporary Dance Festival in Évora and International Choreographic Platform from the 18th Quinzena de Dança Almada.
In 2010 performed “ The Rite of Spring “ of Companhia Olga Roriz and " Suggestions for Walking Alone ", piece of André Mesquita for dance platform Tok'Art.
In a production from Teatro Municipal S. Luiz performed a piece of choreographer Clara Andermatt and theater - film director Marco Martins " Durações de um minuto ".
In 2011 works with Tânia Carvalho in the project “Icosahedron"( Best Choreography 2011 – SPA Awards, Portugal )
In co-creation with António Cabrita, presents a video work " ACSC1 - Body | Video | Audio - Experiment " in the International Festival Add- Wood (Lisbon) and it's been developing the project | ACSC |.
In 2012 performed in InShadow Festival with Ka Fai Choy in the piece “ Notion – Dance Fiction “. Danced André Mesquita ‘s last piece “ You Never Know How Things are Going to Come Together ” for dance platform Tok’art.
Premiered “ Wasteland “ a project from | acsc | António Cabrita and São Castro in April 2012 , Teatro Municipal de Almada, in Ciclo Sala Experimental. And recently worked for Companhia Instável in a project by Hofesh Shechter called “ Shelters”, 3 pieces from Hofesh for Guimarães European Capital of Culture 2012.
