Ana Jezebel, 1990 Lisbon. At the age of 10 joined Conservatory Dance School. Started her degree in ESTC. Later graduated in Contemporary Dance in ESD (2014). Attended the ERASMUS program in Fontys (Netherlands) where she worked with Eddy Becquart, Gabriella Maiorino and Hilde Elbers.
Since 2015 attending some workshops between Portugal, Belgium, UK and Israel, highlighting names like Ohad Naharin, David Zambrano, Jose Agudo, Meytal Blanaru, Rakesh Sukesh, Keren Rosenberg, Vita Osojnik, Cia. Ultima Vez and Peeping Tom.
As professional experience participated in a festival with a co-creation peace "Silent Mercy" with Duarte Valadares (2013). In Cia. Instável as an intern and interpreter danced "Free" by Gregory Maqoma (2014). Already in 2015 she worked with Marco da Silva Ferreira "Hu(r)mano", and with Cia. Instável danced "Cribles" by Emmanuelle Huynh. She started a co-creation project Ana Jezabel + Antonio Torres with the piece " OUTRO EM MIM QUE EU IGNORO " (2015), and "A IMPORTÂNCIA DE SER desNECESSÁRIO” (2017).
Last year Ana worked with Cia. Paulo Ribeiro which is part of the cast "A FESTA(da insignificância)” and "Ceci n'est pas un film–dueto para maça e ovo”. Created a solo to "TODOS" festival, directed by Madalena Victorino an Giacomo Scalisi. Recently collaborated with Romeo Castellucci in “ETHICA NATURA E ORIGINE DELLA MENTE”.
